Well, my third pregnancy brought many ups and downs – one of which happened to be more pain in my ribs. I was told with my first pregnancy that this pain was caused by a swollen gallbladder so all this time I have been under the impression that the burning sensation under my ribcage meant that I might potentially need surgery to remove it after pregnancy.

Anyhow, after talking with my doctor about it, I woke up early one morning to go to the hospital and get a special ultrasound. Low and behold, my gallbladder was perfectly fine. Not only that, but I actually had the same scan done when I was pregnant with Ari. Why didn’t anyone tell me this before I went in? No one knows…but here is a pic of me in the car before my scan.
