In January, I had the pleasure of joining my co-workers in Santa Barbara for the 2017 NAPCP Retreat. Obviously, it was all sorts of awesome. Amazing people, amazing learning opportunities, amazing food, amazing views…the list goes on. One of the big contributors to the fabulousness of this event was the hotel we stayed at. This place had the BEST rooftop (and I am not exaggerating this point at all). The entire time we were there I was taking photos from the rooftop. It was like a newborn baby – you just couldn’t stop photographing it. At one point, I actually had to just remind myself that I had enough photos of the view – I think most of us felt this way. Plus, their Spanish-style decor was awesome. Love!

Anyhow, originally we had hoped to have most of our events on the rooftop – at least the opening and closing receptions, but the first night ended up being the only night that was warm enough to be up there at night. Turns out January in Santa Barbara is still pretty cold (who knew). Even still, I am so glad we had the opportunity to have at least one of these on the rooftop. It really was the perfect evening.

I would say more, but I think the photos do the talking.
