I love me some pizza. Sometimes though, I am not in the mood to make a whole crust and everything. So on days I am feeling especially lazy but I have a craving for pizza, I make myself a mini pizza.

How do you make a mini pizza, you ask? Just follow the quick and easy recipe below!


The Ingredients

  • 1 Slice Pita Bread (you can use regular, wheat, etc. I used wheat in the example)
  • 1 Spoonful Dairy Free Pizza Sauce – or enough to coat your pita (The Dei Fratelli brand is dairy free, there are different ones out there that are as well)
  • 1 Handful Daiya Mozzarella Style Cheese (or whichever type of dairy free cheese you like)
  • Toppings Of Your Choice – (I used turkey pepperoni, but most of the time I like to add some green pepper and onion!)

The How-To-Do

Coat your pita with dairy free sauce and then put your toppings and cheese on top. Put in oven under the broiler for about 5-10 mins until your cheese is melted and the pita bread is slightly crisp. That’s it!


And now…I think I will go and make myself one of these for lunch. MMmmm…Pizzaaaa…
